The Washington State Psychological Association (WSPA) Chapter 1 February meeting and
1-CE (continuing education) event is happening Tuesday, 2/26/19, 6-8pm at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant (245 W. Main Ave, Spokane).
Some reminders about meetings:
1) If you are a WSPA or IPA (Idaho Psychological Association) member, the 1-credit CE is no additional charge

2) Non-members are also welcome: $15 check to WSPA buys the CE credit
a. Payment can be provided to me, or mailed to WSPA at 9 S. Washington St, Suite 201, Spokane WA 99201
3) No host menu (food, drinks, etc.) is available at the restaurant

We will have networking and a short business meeting, 6-7pm: For this 2/26/19 meeting, Jay Hilaj will (briefly) tell us about Alpha-stim devices and be available for questions.
Laura S. Schmidt, MA, LMFT will then present, 7-8pm, “An Introduction to the Internal Family Systems Model of Psychotherapy”: This presentation introduces the Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy, an effective, collaborative, and empowering framework for working with patients' protective systems of parts (i.e., traits, sub-personalities, thoughts, behaviors, feelings). Clinicians will learn about a central catalyst for healing and transformation present within everyone, regardless of circumstance or trauma.
